25 years of clinical practice will be synthesized in this two days lecture. Franz will develop his understanding of the relationship between the viscera and the supporting structure through the connective layers.He will explain and demonstrate their role during a static postural stance and in the dynamics of the body.A detailed description of the pressure compartments will follow.

The practical part will focus on tests and techniques relating to the different visceral compartments from the neck to the perineum and a personal approach (never taught to date) of tests and techniques looking at spinal dysfunctions will be taught and practiced.

The diagnostic part will include Chapman reflexes and Jaricot points to achieve a precise and complete diagnosis.

This course represents a synthesis of twenty five years in practice and in dissection labs at Bruxelles University,and will allow the participants to evolve in their practice.

The Speaker - Workshop Leader: Franz Buset

Mr Franz Buset D.O. is a 1983 graduate of the European School of Osteopathy (Maidstone). He is in private practice and lectures on visceral osteopathy internationally at undergraduate and MSc level. He has 20 years experience in dissection at the Anatomy Laboratory (Brussels University). He is the Co-Principal of the Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie and is responsible for TFE in visceral osteopathy.
